David Sharpe, BSc

For over three decades, David has helped high net-worth families craft investment strategies to meet their goals. In addition to his longevity in the industry, Dave also spent his entire career with Scotia Wealth Management, including a seven-year term as Branch Manager of the Brampton office. David and his team provide complete wealth management services to over 600 clients and manage upwards of $700 million in client assets.

David was born and raised on his family farm just north of Brampton, and has an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto. David has also played an active role as a volunteer with many different community organizations in Brampton. Among these include membership with six different committees of the Brampton Board of Trade, including a three-year term as a Director. David was also the founding Chair of the Brampton Business Achievements Awards program.

David is a Past-Chair of the Brampton and Caledon Community Foundation, which raises permanent endowment capital to fund charitable activities within Brampton, Caledon and surrounding communities.

David was awarded the Brampton Board of Trade’s Business Person of the Year Award for 2013.
